Cookies from Blue Diamond Almonds
Cookies are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site and to help deliver adverts correctly.
The information below explains the cookies we use, why we use them and when they are set.
Cookies set by third parties
Cookies set by Google Analytics and Addthis.com.
Google analytics information allows us to see how people are using the site (how many people visit, how long people spend on each page, where people go and other site usage information). Google has access to that information if you are signed into Google as you browse. We can only see ‘aggregated’ results, that is, we can’t identify individual people from their browsing session.
Cookies set by Google Analytics and their duration:
Utma – 2 years
Utmb – 12 hours
Utmc – When you quit your browser
Utmz – 6 months
We use a component called ‘Addthis’ (www.addthis.com) that allows you to easily add links to our site to your facebook page, twitter feed and other social media websites.
Cookies set by Addthis and their duration:
This cookie is set in order to make sure the user sees the updated count if they share a page and return to it before our share count cache is updated. No data from that cookie is sent back to AddThis and removing it when disabling cookies would cause unexpected behaviour for users.
Duration: 2 years
User id and login time tracking set by Addthis. These cookies are used for per-site user preferences and analytics, and are always preceded with an underscore.
Duration: 12 hours
The Site has security measures in place intended to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. We are committed to the protection of your personal and order information. We use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to ensure that all the information you provide is encrypted and cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. SSL is a worldwide industry standard for such sensitive transactions.
